Sumber & Metodologi
Arabic text
The Quranic Arabic is the Uthmani script of the King Fahd Glorious Quran Complex (Madinah Mushaf), obtained via the open-source quran-api dataset (fawazahmed0, served over jsDelivr), edition ara-quranuthmanihaf. The text is reproduced verbatim — never edited, paraphrased or generated. The edition does not prefix Bismillah onto verse 1, so a Bismillah header is rendered separately above every surah except Al-Fatihah and At-Taubah.
Translations
Translations come from the same quran-api dataset. Note: Saheeh International is not included in that dataset, so the English translation is Abdullah Yusuf Ali's, stated plainly here and on the Translations page.

Audio
Recitation audio is streamed per-ayah MP3 from EveryAyah.com, using the pattern https://everyayah.com/data/{folder}/{SSS}{AAA}.mp3 (3-digit surah + 3-digit ayah). Three reciters are offered in v1:
- Mishary Rashid Alafasy —
Alafasy_128kbps(128 kbps) - Abdul Basit Abdul Samad —
Abdul_Basit_Murattal_192kbps(192 kbps) - Saad Al-Ghamdi —

Qibla calculation
The Qibla finder computes the initial great-circle bearing from your coordinates to the Kaaba (21.4225°, 39.8262°):
θ = atan2( sin Δλ · cos φ₂, cos φ₁ · sin φ₂ − sin φ₁ · cos φ₂ · cos Δλ )
where φ₁, λ₁ are your latitude/longitude and φ₂, λ₂ are the Kaaba's, all in radians; the result is normalized to 0–360° clockwise from true north. Distance uses the Haversine formula with Earth radius 6,371 km. No external map library is involved — all computation happens in your browser.
Juz boundaries
The 30 juz divisions are derived from the verse-level juz field in quran-api's info.json metadata: each juz begins at the first verse tagged with that juz number.
