Surah Al-Ma'un

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿١﴾ (1)

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)

فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يَدُعُّ ٱلۡيَتِيمَ ﴿٢﴾ (2)

Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness)

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلۡمِسۡكِينِ ﴿٣﴾ (3)

And encourages not the feeding of the indigent

فَوَيۡلࣱ لِّلۡمُصَلِّينَ ﴿٤﴾ (4)

So woe to the worshippers

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَن صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُونَ ﴿٥﴾ (5)

Who are neglectful of their prayers

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُونَ ﴿٦﴾ (6)

Those who (want but) to be seen (of men)

وَيَمۡنَعُونَ ٱلۡمَاعُونَ ﴿٧﴾ (7)

But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs
